Abigail Agyei-Jones is a Portfolio Manager in the Innovation team at Impact on Urban Health, leading work on systems change leadership. She has over nine years’ experience working with communities pushed to the margins and across multiple UK Government departments, including the Department of Health and Social Care, the Ministry of Justice, and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities. Her work has focused on equity, early years health, and support for Black and minoritised communities over the pandemic.

She is passionate about amplifying the voices of people with intersectional identities, particularly Black women and those who are neurodivergent. Abigail has ADHD and Dyspraxia and advocates for better awareness of how race, gender, and neurodivergence intersect—highlighted in her TEDx talk at the University of Essex on ADHD in Black women. She was awarded an MBE in the 2022 New Year Honours for services to public and community work.
