Portfolio Manager
James is a part of our Programmes team, supporting our research and development work.
James joined us in September 2020 from the On Purpose Associate Programme. Prior to On Purpose, James spent five years working as a consultant to an established international sports agency. He advised on player career management, club acquisitions, recruitment strategies, transfer brokerage and risk management.
James works across the Communications and Programme teams in a coordinating role across the two functions. His work focuses on the COVID-19 Emergency Fund and identifying new ways for the organisation to use data in their communications.
His first placement was in the Innovation and Insight team at Samaritans where he brought his commercial expertise to an innovation strategy to help launch and scale a diverse income product portfolio.
