Executive Director
Mohamed Osman is the Executive Director of Impact on Urban Health, part of Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation, where he leads work to close the health gap for people living in Lambeth and Southwark.
He joins from Spring Impact, where as CEO he helped mission-driven organisations and foundations everywhere scale their impact sustainably and effectively. This included direct work with part of the Impact on Urban Health grantee portfolio, among them Bite Back, Chefs in Schools and Rice Marketing, on their scale strategies.
Mohamed has over 20 years of experience building partnerships and delivering programmes in global health, social enterprise and humanitarian assistance across 25 countries. He helped establish the world’s first HIV Social Impact Bond, using outcomes-based financing to drive community-level HIV prevention in Lambeth and Southwark. He is a council member at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
