Michael manages our data partnerships to improve our evidence and knowledge by using the latest data-driven approaches available.
Michael joined us in October 2022. Prior to joining us, he was ‘Head of Digital’ at the Football Foundation – the UKs largest sports charity – where he was responsible for a successful digital transformation to enable the delivery of a ten year National Football Facilities Strategy.
He also continues to consult for Trust Impact, who focus in on supporting social impact organisations to improve the way their measure and report on their impact.

Four years ago, we launched our first Urban Health Index. In this blog, we take a closer look at the updated Index – and what it tells us about health inequality within Lambeth and Southwark.

This report highlights key findings from our Health and Wellbeing Study, conducted with over 5000 survey respondents and six focus groups with residents from across Lambeth and Southwark. The study was developed with community researchers to better understand how people feel about their health and the factors that affect it.

In September 2023, the second round of the Civic Data Innovation Challenge launched. Michael Rigby reveals the four groups to develop their data projects with up to £60,000 funding.
