Interim Head of Programme
Nikita works across our health effects of air pollution and children's health and food programmes.
Nikita joined the Programmes team in March 2022.
Within the health effects of air pollution programme, she leads our projects with schools and works on reducing people’s exposure to indoor air pollution. In our children’s health and food programme, she is also collaborating with schools to improve the nutritional quality of school food in our boroughs and beyond.
Nikita joins us with a background in public health and local government. Her previous role was with Southwark Council in their public health department, where she collaborated with other council departments and external stakeholders, taking a place-based approach to address health inequities associated with childhood obesity and air pollution. She has a Master’s in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
