Head of Programme (Children's health and food)
Nikita leads our children's health and food programme.
Nikita joined the Programmes team in March 2022.
Nikita co-leads our children’s health and food programme. In this role, she is responsible for shaping the strategic direction for the programme to ensure all our work is pushing towards a future where all children in Lambeth and Southwark have access to healthy, affordable food, no matter their background. She supports colleagues in our children’s health and food team to fund and collaborate with a broad range of partners with shared goals, to influence policymakers and industry, and to capture our learning and understand our impact.
Nikita joins us with a background in public health and local government. Her previous role was with Southwark Council in their public health department, where she collaborated with other council departments and external stakeholders, taking a place-based approach to address health inequities associated with childhood obesity and air pollution. She has a Master’s in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
