Invitation to tender: Community research and engagement partner

We are looking for a community partner to lead on community research and engagement with families in Lambeth and Southwark, as part of a new food and drink reformulation pilot.

We are launching an exciting new project that seeks to take a community-led approach to reformulating food and drink products, so that culturally appropriate food can be healthier and more affordable for local families.

We are recruiting a community partner to lead on the research and engagement with families in Lambeth and Southwark over the course of this 18 month project. The community partner will work closely with the project team, including EIT Food and RSSL, who will be supporting smaller manufacturers to reformulate the identified food products.

Submission deadline: Friday 21st March 2025

What we are looking for

  • Experience of working closely with community groups and families in Lambeth and/or Southwark
  • Experience of carrying out community research with local families and a commitment to ensuring that the families are kept up to date with the project throughout the course of the 18 months
  • A commitment to work closely with the project team and a range of different stakeholders.

It is not essential to have detailed knowledge of food nutrition or reformulation of food and drink products – the project team will be able to support with this to ensure that meaningful conversations with families are possible.

An impact specialist will be available through EIT Food to help the successful organisation in developing this work.

Details of the budget, project timelines, the Theory of Change and Logic Model, as well as details of how to apply are all available within the briefing document.
