Anna Garrod

Anna joined us in 2020, with almost 15 years experience working in health policy, influencing and research in the NHS, professional associations and the charity sector. Anna leads our approach to influencing as an urban health foundation, using our evidence and insight to influence policy and practice at a local, national and international level.

Her expertise includes health service design and commissioning, health inequalities and mental health. Most recently Anna was Head of Health and Resilience Policy at the British Red Cross, where she lead on the organisation’s policy and advocacy in health and social care, loneliness and crisis response.
